Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Abbadia's Osvaldinho Vianna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Barreirinha's zone, Durvalino Vergílio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique das Neves came out of the goal and Durvalino Vergílio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldinho Vianna took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique das Neves. Enrique das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 13 minutes, Henrique Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barreirinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Barreirinha's Dedé Salgado got a free kick in the 24th minute. Henrique Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mateus Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barreirinha. When Jaime Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abbadia's protests and gave Jaime Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Abbadia getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jaime Mesquita hit a great ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abbadia's goalkeeper Mateus Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Abbadia defense, Ian Zanette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus Leal. The Abbadia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus Leal should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Ortiz got free with Mateus Leal in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilvan de Queiroz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Henrique Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mateus Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Ian Zanette made the kick off in the second half. Mateus Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Zanette in the 52nd minute of play. Ian Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mateus Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Ortiz in the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Henrique Ortiz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Abbadia's Mateus Leal. Mateus Leal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guga Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Abbadia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guga Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. Guga Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Zanette in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateus Leal saved Abbadia from getting behind. Ian Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Leal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Ortiz in the 74th minute of play forced Abbadia's goalkeeper Mateus Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Naldo Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Ian Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Henrique Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barreirinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abbadia the free kick. After 84 played minutes Barreirinha got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Ortiz. Henrique Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mateus Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
