When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jardel Coutinho sped through Gracismoes AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Fernando Montenegro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Galvão in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrianinho Maciel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes Parma Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Coutinho. Gracismoes AD's Genílson Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes in the game, Edmílson Vinhas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to Parma Brasil getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Artur Barreto hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Edmílson Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parma Brasil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmílson Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Mané Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Luís Fernando Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parma Brasil. Diogo Ferraz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Edmílson Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Décio Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Parma Brasil's Décio Sergipano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Décio Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luís Fernando Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Décio Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fernando Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parma Brasil's Décio Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genílson Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Diogo Ferraz fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gracismoes AD's protests and gave Diogo Ferraz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gracismoes AD getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Diogo Ferraz hit a great ball. Luís Fernando Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Sergipano in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Edmílson Vinhas notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Gracismoes AD's Luís Fernando Montenegro. Luís Fernando Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Parma Brasil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
