Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tauatuba SS's José Matorin got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Alex Vinhas came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Tauatuba SS's Cléber Medeiros. But to his dismay, Cléber Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Carlos Eduardo Vinhas fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aracoiaba SS's protests and gave Carlos Eduardo Vinhas a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Eduardo Vinhas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. José Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Tauatuba SS got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Netto. Alex Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Durval Toscano took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fabiano da Cunha. Luís Fabiano da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aníbal Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Durval Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aníbal Valladares to make the kick off. Alex Vinhas made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when José Matorin sent off a good shot on target. Luís Fabiano da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Valladares went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Luís Fabiano da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Valladares in the 63rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horácio da Costa during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Tauatuba SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio da Costa to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Durval Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Luís Fabiano da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Fernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aracoiaba SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tauatuba SS the free kick. Aracoiaba SS's Alex Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Tinoco in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Alessandro Campidelis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Vinhas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zé Paulo Fernandez got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zé Paulo Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. José Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Alex Vinhas made a huge save. 84 minutes into the game, Tauatuba SS's José Matorin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Vinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 89 minutes into the match, Tauatuba SS's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Toscano came free, but Luís Fabiano da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Valladares struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Luís Fabiano da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aracoiaba SS. Durval Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aracoiaba SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tauatuba SS for a fine match.
