A collision led to Miracema getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Emílio Neto hit a great ball. Paulo Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Raimundo Pinho made a huge save. Jorge Linares's late challenge caught a Miracema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Linares helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mandacaru's Jorge Linares got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Mandacaru's Raimundo Pinho got control of the ball when Richard Vides tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Vides in the 21st minute of play forced Mandacaru's goalkeeper Raimundo Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Vides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Roger Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Raimundo Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Mandacaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match, Richard Vides tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Raimundo Pinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Raimundo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Vides in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Mandacaru's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Peixoto came free, but Raimundo Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mandacaru's Paulo Pombal got a free kick in the 46th minute. Paulo Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Raimundo Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miracema. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Soeiro to make the kick off. Raimundo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Mineiro in the 52nd minute of play. Adalberto Peixoto scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonel Silveira hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes Mandacaru got a freekick which was hit by Rui Moura. After a defensive mix-up in Mandacaru's zone, Richard Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Pinho came out of the goal and Richard Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mandacaru's goalkeeper Raimundo Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Roger Soeiro sped through Miracema's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nildo Dantas. Tiaguinho Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Dantas having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Dedê Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mandacaru's attack was well implemented in the 81st minute, but when Roger Soeiro was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 85th minute of the match Rafa das Neves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raimundo Pinho skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Pinho having to interfere. If Roger Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Miracema's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Soeiro came free, but Nildo Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Miracema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. If Richard Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
