Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luís Linares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gino Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Castro in the 3rd minute of play. Gil Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Esteves having to interfere. When Gildo Valle, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 6 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gino Esteves was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Gil Castro came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Soberana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Castro couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Soberana's goalkeeper Nilson Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfredo Campidelis. In the 16th minute, Gildo Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in The Blue Dolphins's zone, Gil Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gino Esteves came out of the goal and Gil Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Délio Félix charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Délio Félix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Délio Félix hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Luís Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Baptista having to interfere. Anselmo Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Soberana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Messias to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes in the game, Luís Linares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nilson Baptista having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Linares in the 42nd minute of play forced Soberana's goalkeeper Nilson Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Soberana's goalkeeper Nilson Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfredo Campidelis. Abel Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Blue Dolphins booed when Soberana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Luís Linares came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the The Blue Dolphins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Linares couldn't finish the play. Manfredo Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gino Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nilson Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manfredo Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Baptista having to interfere. During the 86th minute of the match Anselmo Messias completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anselmo Messias a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Soberana getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Anselmo Messias hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, The Blue Dolphins's Manfredo Campidelis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilson Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Manfredo Campidelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soberana's Nilson Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Linares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
