Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 5 played minutes Pequizeiro got a freekick which was hit by Davi de Toledo. Enio Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Márcio Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Madureira scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Márcio Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Enio Zonta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Márcio Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luís Fabiano Lopes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Recife came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Fabiano Lopes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 19th minute. After 22 minutes, Sílvio Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gozado and the Pequizeiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pequizeiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The supporters of Gozado booed when Pequizeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pequizeiro getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fabiano Pimenta hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Rui Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Gozado's Enio Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio Jacinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Yan Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Márcio Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Rui Madureira made the kick off in the second half. Enio Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Jacinto having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Rui Madureira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Márcio Jacinto. The goal made the score 1-5. Rui Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th match minute, Pequizeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Donato Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Rui Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enio Zonta got free with Márcio Jacinto in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Márcio Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pequizeiro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Rui Madureira scored to the left of an out of position Márcio Jacinto, making the score, 1-6. Gozado's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
