Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Célio Paiva made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Claudinei Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Mandalorian's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovânio de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovânio de Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vágner Dante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Miguel Alcântara made a huge save. Renan Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafim Garcia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Alcântara. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, The Mandalorian's Claudinei Quintal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Zanette was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renan Pinheiro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Claudinei Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonas Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Loureiro in the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Mandalorian's zone, Percival Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Alcântara came out of the goal and Percival Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Claudinei Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the The Mandalorian fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Quintal couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Serafim Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes The Mandalorian got a freekick which was hit by Felippe de Senna. Miguel Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Percival Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Alcântara having to interfere. Célio Paiva's late challenge caught a Caraparu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Célio Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, The Mandalorian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo de Barros hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Renan Pinheiro made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Oscar Matorin. Célio Paiva got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-2 in the right cross in the 85th match minute before Jonas Zanette had time to react. Claudinei Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jonas Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Antunes in the 91st minute of play. Percival Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The The Mandalorian supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Mandalorian would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
