Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Baltazar Diniz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute Baltazar Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Nelson de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirajiba's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson de Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basílio Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Vidal in the 12th minute of play. Baltazar Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertinho Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson de Queiroz in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sydney Cearense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Lucas Paraíba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Pirajiba getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rodriguinho Alvarenga hit a great ball. Edmílson Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Cosme having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, Itaguacu's Edmílson Vidal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basílio Cosme was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Itaguacu's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson de Queiroz came free, but Lucas Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Itaguacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. When Pirajiba's Nelson de Queiroz, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Pirajiba. Lucas Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Baltazar Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson de Queiroz made a kick off. Pirajiba's Basílio Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Diniz in the 51st minute of play. Diamantino de Amorim hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson de Queiroz in the 56th minute of play forced Itaguacu's goalkeeper Lucas Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nelson de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltazar Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Sydney Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirajiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaguacu the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pirajiba's Sydney Cearense got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Basílio Cosme made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Edmílson Vidal sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Paraíba came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirajiba's Sydney Cearense. But to his dismay, Sydney Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pirajiba's Nelson de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sydney Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Paraíba having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Pirajiba's Nelson de Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Paraíba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Lucas Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson de Queiroz in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson de Queiroz in the 88th minute of play forced Itaguacu's goalkeeper Lucas Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Diniz in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucas Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
