Jerônimo Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Passos having to interfere. In the 49th minute, Cássio Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lúcio de Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Angaturama getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ezequiel Faria hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Angaturama had played much better football throughout.
