Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Ferraz in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Galatto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cido Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. João Pedro Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Emanuel Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malacacheta SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Erasmo Salles 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 45th minute, Cafu Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Pedro Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cido Rosa went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Edu Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rodrigo Galatto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
