Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zézinho de Barros made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Zézinho de Barros notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Umarituba EC's Fábio Linhares. Fábio Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antônio Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vilfes FC's Marcos Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fábio Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Antônio Cavalcante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes Vilfes FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Cavalcante. Zézinho de Barros's late challenge caught a Umarituba EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zézinho de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vilfes FC's Zézinho de Barros got a free kick in the 31st minute. Antônio Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fábio Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juninho Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lucas Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilfes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antônio Cavalcante scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fábio Linhares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juninho Barral made a kick off. Zézinho de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd minute, Marco Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zézinho de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Vilfes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho de Barros couldn't finish the play. Lucas Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Linhares having to interfere. The supporters of Vilfes FC booed when Umarituba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Fernandes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juninho Barral went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Zézinho de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Fábio Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zézinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Linhares came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Vilfes FC's Zézinho de Barros. But to his dismay, Zézinho de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After some careless play in the Umarituba EC defense, Zézinho de Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fábio Linhares. The Umarituba EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fábio Linhares should have stopped the shot. When Zézinho de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Vilfes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho de Barros couldn't finish the play. Fábio Linhares made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Lucas Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target.
