Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dário Santos took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Tarcisio Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fabiano da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gomes having to interfere. Morro's Carlos Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Santos in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Toninho da Silveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dedê Camargo skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Santos in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gilvan Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morro's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilvan Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedê Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Dário Santos put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Gomes. If Gilvan Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Tarcisio Valle had to leave the field with a concussion. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yauacana fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Dedê Camargo went to the wrong direction when Samuel de Andrade was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Dário Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morro's Carlos Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42 played minutes, Yauacana's Douglas Valadares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Gomes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yauacana reached it. 43 minutes into the match, Yauacana's Dário Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilvan Oliveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Morro's Manfredo Leme got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Morro's Léo Carvalho got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dário Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gomes having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Morro got a freekick which was hit by Samuel de Andrade. The supporters of Yauacana booed when Morro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Yauacana's Douglas Valadares tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Carlos Gomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano da Silveira in the 64th minute. Carlos Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Santos in the 68th minute of the match. If Benjamim Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Dário Santos scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Gomes, making the score, 1-2. After 78 minutes, Manfredo Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro and the Yauacana players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Oliveira in the 83rd minute of play forced Yauacana's goalkeeper Dedê Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Yauacana's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Carvalho came free, but Dedê Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Yauacana had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
