Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Andaia's Belchior Cardoso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jairo Saraiva was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Andaia. Vivaldo do Vale stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfredão Faustino. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Belchior Cardoso took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alfredão Faustino to make any attempt to save it. If Belchior Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Real EC's goal looked a bit too open when Belchior Cardoso came free, but Alfredão Faustino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Sarmento's late challenge caught a Andaia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Real EC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Sarmento. If Belchior Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alfredão Faustino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belchior Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Belchior Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belchior Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Andaia's zone, Genílson Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Montenegro came out of the goal and Genílson Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genílson Souto made a kick off. In the 60th minute Belchior Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Faustino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Real EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano de Sena came free, but Alfredão Faustino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano de Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredão Faustino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano de Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredão Faustino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belchior Cardoso in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Genílson Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson Souto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Sarmento struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Bruno Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real EC. After 81 played minutes Andaia got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Vander. Bruno Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Genílson Souto sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Real EC booed when Andaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Andaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Real EC's Alfredão Faustino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano de Sena in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Andaia fully deserved thier win.
