With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Netto in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Augusto Luz saved Anapurus SC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Netto in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Augusto Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Anapurus SC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni de Queiroz came free, but Carlos Augusto Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Augusto Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Vânderson Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Miguel Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anapurus SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OFF the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Netto was the one to do the kick off. OFF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
