Potreirito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Pedrão Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cesinha Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson do Nascimento having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Enio Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Vânderson do Nascimento. Camacu SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Enio Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson do Nascimento having to interfere. Enio Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Cardozo made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Nilson de Almeida sent off a good shot on target. Nilson de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Alex Cardozo made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cafu Fontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Enio Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cesinha Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enio Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Vânderson do Nascimento made a huge save. Nilson de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alex Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson de Almeida in the 62nd minute of play forced Potreirito's goalkeeper Alex Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potreirito's Alex Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Fontes in the 64th minute of play. If Cesinha Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vânderson do Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enio Almeida in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Camacu SS's zone, Enio Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson do Nascimento came out of the goal and Enio Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vânderson do Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enio Almeida in the 76th minute. Alex Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Alex Cardozo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Camacu SS's Cafu Fontes. But to his dismay, Cafu Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 83rd match minute, Camacu SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Félix to maneuver through the defense. Cesinha Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson do Nascimento having to interfere. Cafu Fontes struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Alex Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camacu SS. Vânderson do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Zanette in the 99th minute of the match. Camacu SS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Potreirito had controlled the match.
