Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Braga started the match with the kick off. Guto Soeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sílvio Luís Alvarenga. Itacare FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match Olavo Aguiar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gino Linhares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wilian Tavares's late challenge caught a Itacare FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilian Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. Wilian Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Cléber dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mapada's Wilian Tavares got a free kick in the 7th minute. Gino Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Braga in the 8th minute of play. Sílvio Luís Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mário Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Sílvio Luís Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Alvarenga didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Cléber dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gino Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cléber dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gino Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Mário Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Elano Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mapada's supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Luís Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gino Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

54 minutes into the match, Mário Lopez notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Itacare FC's Sílvio Luís Alvarenga. Sílvio Luís Alvarenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cléber dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gino Linhares made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Itacare FC's Cléber dos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gino Linhares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 67 minutes of play, Mapada's Mário Lopez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luís Alvarenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gino Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Braga in the 71st minute of play. Elano Ceresso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute of the match Itacare FC got a corner. Mapada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Osvaldo Tróia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Lopez during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Mapada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Linhares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Braga in the 95th minute of play forced Mapada's goalkeeper Gino Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mapada's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
