Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abelardo Britto got the match started through his kick off. Olavo Lopez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guarda SS! The referee gave Jatoba EC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramiro Mazza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guarda SS's Eduardo Ramalho. 1-0. After 16 minutes, Lauro Soeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guarda SS and the Jatoba EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Guarda SS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lauro Soeiro hit a great ball. Luís Eduardo Quirino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Elano Arce sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jatoba EC's Francisco Cunha didn't even have to move. André Luiz Netto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Francisco Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Tofani in the 24th minute of the match. Bernardo Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Ramalho having to interfere. When Hílton Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Jatoba EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hílton Marinho couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Mota got free with Eduardo Ramalho in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Luiz Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Cunha having to interfere. If Abelardo Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abelardo Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Eduardo Ramalho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eduardo Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44thth minute of the game Hílton Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarda SS's Eduardo Ramalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Tofani to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luiz Netto got free with Francisco Cunha in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aldo Tofani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Francisco Cunha made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Abelardo Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jatoba EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Ramalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Britto struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Eduardo Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jatoba EC. Eduardo Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Britto in the 65th minute of play. Bernardo Mota hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Guarda SS's Eduardo Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Britto in the 73rd minute of play. Aldo Tofani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Francisco Cunha made a huge save. 1-1 became the score in the 78th minute when Aldo Tofani elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. André Luiz Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Cunha having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Aldo Tofani got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Tofani in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Cunha saved Jatoba EC from getting behind. Kléber Souza hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Guarda SS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Jatoba EC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
