Jatoba EC's Francisco Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Jatoba EC from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Mota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Rodrigues having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Abelardo Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Cunha. Jatoba EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Abelardo Britto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Danilo Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danilo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Mota in the 34th minute of the match. Gilberto Corrêa hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Marco Novaes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Cunha. Jatoba EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Novaes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Abelardo Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Abelardo Antunes struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Francisco Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirandella SC.

The wind increased when Abelardo Antunes made the kick off in the second half. João Adolfo Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Adolfo Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, one of Mirandella SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mirandella SC. In the 65th minute Abelardo Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abelardo Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Mirandella SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Antunes couldn't finish the play. Marco Novaes scored 4-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Danilo Rodrigues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardo Mota showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 78 minute of play. Francisco Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Novaes in the 85th minute of play. Abelardo Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Linhares's late challenge caught a Jatoba EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio Linhares helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Pedro Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Mirandella SC's Danilo Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Britto in the 95th minute of play. Mirandella SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
