After some careless play in the Consequencia defense, Doni Sampaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertino Alvarenga. The Consequencia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertino Alvarenga should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd match minute, Franquinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Consequencia's Nelson Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
