Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amadeu Rodrigues took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Eriberto Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irati FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pubas the free kick. The supporters of Pubas booed when Irati FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulinho Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mauro da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Irati FC's Dráuzio Toscano got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Pubas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Irati FC's Adelino Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pubas booed when Irati FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Manoel Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romeu Hames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Vaz in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Amadeu Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pubas's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Hames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelino Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro da Mata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 36 minutes, Paulinho Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irati FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Zilles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adelino Tasso struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Mauro da Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irati FC. Romeu Hames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Adelino Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Amadeu Rodrigues notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Irati FC's Romeu Hames. Romeu Hames was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 49th minute, Irati FC's Eriberto Andrade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulinho Zilles made a kick off. Nilson Vaz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Romeu Hames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pubas. 61 minutes into the match, Pubas's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Zilles came free, but Mauro da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidnei Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Mauro da Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes Irati FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Andrade. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Vaz got free with Romeu Hames in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Pubas's Manoel Favoretto got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Paulinho Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nilson Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeu Hames. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilson Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Adelino Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Pubas's Romeu Hames threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amadeu Rodrigues, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 95 minutes, Paulinho Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irati FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Zilles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manoel Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Pubas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pubas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
