Wilson Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Caio Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macuim FC. Caio Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Caio Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Marinho in the 11th minute of the match. If Aílton Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes of play, Guamiranga's Guga Rossi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias de Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Guamiranga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júlio de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. Júlio de Mendonça hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Guga Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guamiranga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Guga Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias de Toledo having to interfere. When Guga Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Guamiranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Rossi couldn't finish the play. If Evaristo Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Guamiranga booed when Macuim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Macuim FC's Aílton Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caio Trancoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Macuim FC's zone, Evaristo Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias de Toledo came out of the goal and Evaristo Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guga Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Evaristo Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macuim FC's Zacarias de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Macuim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Marinho came free, but Zacarias de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macuim FC's goalkeeper Zacarias de Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Wilson Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Macuim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredão Barros during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guamiranga's Alfredão Barros got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Jeremias Martins sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio Trancoso skillfully saved the ball. Zacarias de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guga Rossi went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Augusto Simão in the 86th minute of play forced Guamiranga's goalkeeper Caio Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Guga Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guga Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aílton Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Trancoso having to interfere. The Guamiranga players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
