Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nilmar Quirino started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Velame AD booed when Relvado SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Serginho Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Velame AD's protests and gave Serginho Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. Serginho Cerezo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Germano Bertassi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jerônimo Fernandez to make any attempt to save it. Pedrão Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Nilmar Quirino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Relvado SC's Pedrão Coelho. Pedrão Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute Jaime Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velame AD's goalkeeper Jerônimo Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Nilmar Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão Coelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Denílson Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jerônimo Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Relvado SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Velame AD were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germano Bertassi to strike the kick off in the second half. When Germano Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Relvado SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Bertassi couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A hard shot 55 in the game by Jaime Cavalcante from a close distance when the talented Pedrão Coelho managed to make a qualified save. Relvado SC's players were relieved. Jerônimo Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germano Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jerônimo Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Relvado SC booed when Velame AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Pedrão Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velame AD. In the 88th minute of the game, Reynaldo Mendes landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Jacinto Hames's late challenge caught a Velame AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Hames helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Velame AD booed when Relvado SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Hames didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Cavalcante might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedrão Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Cavalcante ran back to his position shaking his head. Denílson Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Fernandez having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Velame AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
