When Pedro Luiz Bueno in the 21st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Carlos Alberto Meira kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Luiz Fernando Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Simão de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Bueno in the 28th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Abraão might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simão de Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fernando Abraão ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilson Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Carlos Alberto Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gilson Rosado got free in front of the goal in the 46th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Simão de Alcântara was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luiz Bueno to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Calixto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Alvarenga came free, but Carlos Alberto Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Eger during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute Pedro Luiz Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Pedro Luiz Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Luiz Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
