Evaristo Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmai Sainz in the 6th minute of the match. Evaristo Damião didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CR Framengo's Augusto Di Cola shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Nunez Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nunez Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Rodrigues in the 12th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match, Augusto Di Cola got a very nice opportunity to score, but Evaristo Damião was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Dalmai Sainz came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the CR Framengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmai Sainz couldn't finish the play. Augusto Di Cola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Evaristo Damião when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 25 played minutes Jonia got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Baiano. Evaristo Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmai Sainz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Dalmai Sainz sped through Jonia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaristo Damião. Evaristo Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmai Sainz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Jonia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CR Framengo:s goal. The referee gave CR Framengo a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Augusto Di Cola, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jonia's Evaristo Damião. 6-0. Cássio da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nunez Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruninho Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Nunez Rico made a huge save. After a rather tough play, CR Framengo's Dadá Botelho got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cássio da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Rico having to interfere. Augusto Di Cola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmai Sainz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of CR Framengo booed when Jonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Hames didn't get a good kick on the ball.
