Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Borges in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Zanette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eusébio Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ronaldão Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ronaldão Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Zanette having to interfere. 36 minutes in the game, João Pedro Cabral fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arí Tinoco having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Lucas Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebo and the Aranau FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusébio Borges was the one to do the kick off. If Eusébio Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizão Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Tinoco having to interfere. Quebo's Aílton Cavalcante got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Eusébio Borges came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Aranau FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Borges couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes in the game, Eusébio Borges fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hílton Zanette having to interfere.
