The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moisés Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Tucunare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Mello to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Viana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Viana in the 61st minute of play forced Tucunare's goalkeeper Felippe Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Paulista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Berger. Moisés Rosa struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Antônio Carlos de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucunare. The Tucunare fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Luiz Guilherme Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Andrézinho Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Paulista F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Sergipano couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
