A collision led to Terreiro SC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Romário da Costa hit a great ball. Carlos Eduardo Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agostinho Hoffmann went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Romário da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Yan Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agostinho Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Carlos Eduardo Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enganado FC. When Dionísio Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Enganado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionísio Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. If Benjamim Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Terreiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. Agostinho Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Carioca having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agostinho Hoffmann was the one to do the kick off. Agostinho Hoffmann was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Enganado FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Enganado FC's Yan Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário da Costa in the 58th minute of play. Vágner Loyola scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan Leão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the game, Agostinho Hoffmann lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Carlos Eduardo Carioca. After 74th play minutes Agostinho Hoffmann shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Carlos Eduardo Carioca and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Terreiro SC's zone, Agostinho Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Carioca came out of the goal and Agostinho Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romário da Costa in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yan Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Enganado FC's goalkeeper Yan Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Enganado FC! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Terreiro SC. Osvaldo de Mendonça stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yan Leão. 2-3. The Enganado FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
