Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Naldo Montenegro kicked off to start the match. Carlinhos Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Secco in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Ypiranga SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Naldo Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gilmar Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ypiranga SC's Gil Domingues in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paranaiba SC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Paranaiba SC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gonçalo Gerber hit a great ball. Gil Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gil Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, Ypiranga SC's Gil Domingues made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilmar Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paranaiba SC's goalkeeper Gilmar Palmeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gil Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gilmar Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Naldo Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilmar Palmeira was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Ypiranga SC's Pedro Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naldo Montenegro in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar Palmeira saved Paranaiba SC from getting behind. Gil Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilmar Palmeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Gil Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Hamílton Secco made the kick off in the second half. Gilmar Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Montenegro in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Braga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlinhos Perez was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Gilmar Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Haroldo Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Perez having to interfere. Naldo Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Palmeira having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Naldo Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilmar Palmeira. Naldo Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 72 minutes of play, Ypiranga SC's Gil Domingues made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilmar Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Ypiranga SC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Ypiranga SC's Gil Domingues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gilmar Palmeira came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ypiranga SC's Naldo Montenegro. But to his dismay, Naldo Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Gilmar Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Montenegro in the 89th minute of play. Ypiranga SC played a much better game than Paranaiba SC and deserved their victory. The Paranaiba SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
