Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Capivara's Manoel Arantes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Custódio Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando de Queiroz having to interfere. If Edgard de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Doni Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zé Paulo Cordeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orlando de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Custódio Mumbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard de Sena went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 26 minutes of play, Pirassinunga FC's Edgard de Sena made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Capivara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Custódio Mumbach scored to the left of an out of position Orlando de Queiroz, making the score, 3-1. Orlando de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Custódio Mumbach in the 36th minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Sílvio Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivara and the Pirassinunga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Capivara's Sílvio Ribeiro got a free kick in the 37th minute. Custódio Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando de Queiroz having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Doni Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirassinunga FC's Zé Paulo Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Custódio Mumbach to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Custódio Mumbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirassinunga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Custódio Mumbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Custódio Mumbach's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Orlando de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Custódio Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Rodriguinho Vianna hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Custódio Mumbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edgard de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard de Sena in the 70th minute of play forced Capivara's goalkeeper Orlando de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Capivara's Rodriguinho Vianna got a free kick in the 71st minute. Custódio Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Capivara got a freekick which was hit by Percival de Azevedo. Edgard de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Edgard de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirassinunga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Custódio Mumbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Custódio Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Custódio Mumbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Custódio Mumbach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando de Queiroz was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Orlando de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Custódio Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With his leg Zé Paulo Cordeiro managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Capivara's Doni Tavares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee ended the match the Pirassinunga FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
