Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luiz Fábio Neiva started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Luiz Paulo Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gilberto Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Gatinhos Comunistas's Gilberto Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adalmo Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Cabanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Torres came free, but Adalmo Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gatinhos Comunistas's Genílson Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Neiva in the 13th minute of play. Gilberto Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalmo Varela having to interfere. Adalmo Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Torres in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Luiz Paulo Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabanas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gilberto Torres took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adalmo Varela. Adalmo Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gatinhos Comunistas's Genílson Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Neiva in the 32nd minute of play. Gilberto Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adalmo Varela made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Gilberto Cloyo sent off a good shot on target. When Gatinhos Comunistas's Gilberto Torres in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Secco couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 41 in the game by Gilberto Torres from a close distance when the talented Adalmo Varela managed to make a qualified save. Cabanas FC's players were relieved. With his leg Adalmo Varela managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Gatinhos Comunistas's Gilberto Torres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adalmo Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Torres made a kick off. Gilberto Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Adalmo Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Torres in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adalmo Varela saved Cabanas FC from getting behind. Gilberto Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalmo Varela having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Torres in the 60th minute of play forced Cabanas FC's goalkeeper Adalmo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adalmo Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Torres's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Luiz Paulo Pires hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gilberto Torres took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adalmo Varela. Adalmo Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 74th minute, Benjamim Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Paulo Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute.
