Oscar da Cunha started the match with the kick off. Fellipe Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Romero in the 6th minute of the match. When Oscar da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Martinica EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar da Cunha couldn't finish the play. Martinica EC's Marcel Palmeira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Logradoura. If Haroldo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar da Cunha in the 24th minute of play. Dino Vergílio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Martinica EC's Marcel Palmeira got a free kick in the 27th minute. Haroldo Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oscar da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martinica EC's Rodrigo Neto pulled a muscle in his back after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 35 minutes, Dino Vergílio mouthed his way into the referee's book. Martinica EC's Tibúrcio Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Martinica EC's goal looked a bit too open when Léo dos Santos came free, but Fellipe Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Logradoura a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vítor Paes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Martinica EC's Fellipe Fonseca. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léo dos Santos was the one to do the kick off. Léo dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fellipe Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Haroldo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rômulo Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino do Vale having to interfere. Severino do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibúrcio Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Logradoura's Severino do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo Dias in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Tibúrcio Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martinica EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibúrcio Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th match minute, Martinica EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Severino do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibúrcio Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léo dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 86th minute.
