The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Pingador defense, Guaberto Lamberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elói Prestes. The Pingador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elói Prestes should have stopped the shot. Pingador's Elói Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Nogueira in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guaberto Lamberto in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elói Prestes saved Pingador from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Nogueira in the 10th minute of play forced Pingador's goalkeeper Elói Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Lamberto scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elói Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Dino Nogueira put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Elói Prestes. In the 20th minute, Guaberto Lamberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elói Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Guaberto Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Dino Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Elói Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Guaberto Lamberto sped through Pingador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elói Prestes. Akay Salur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederico Hermes in the 37th minute. Pingador's Elói Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Nogueira in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dino Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elói Prestes was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Elói Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Nogueira in the 61st minute of play. Dino Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Elói Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlo Carra. Dino Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Elói Prestes made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Dino Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Elói Prestes. Pingador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. After 72nd play minutes Dino Nogueira shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Elói Prestes and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 80th minute, Dino Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Elói Prestes. Pingador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Dino Nogueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Elói Prestes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carlo Carra played a much better game than Pingador and deserved their victory. The Pingador players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
