Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nico Urbano made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Pratinha FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gilvan Barbosa hit a great ball. After 6 played minutes, Maruas AD's Armindo Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerson Braga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maruas AD reached it. 7 minutes into the match, Pratinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Urbano came free, but Gerson Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Gilvan Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Luiz Gustavo Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerson Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Aguiar in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Jonas Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes of play, Maruas AD's Nico Urbano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerson Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Zézinho Botelho fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pratinha FC's protests and gave Zézinho Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pratinha FC's zone, Cléber Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson Braga came out of the goal and Cléber Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Maruas AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Gustavo Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. Jonas Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Laerte Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th of the match, Nico Urbano tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gerson Braga got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 64th minute Jonas Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luiz Gustavo Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Pratinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo Paraíba couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Reinaldo Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maruas AD and the Pratinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laerte Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Paraíba in the 69th minute of the match. Laerte Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Gustavo Paraíba's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute of the game, Jonas Madureira landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 75 minutes into the game, one of Maruas AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Pratinha FC a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elivélton Cruz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maruas AD's Laerte Jacinto. 1-1. 81 minutes into the match, Pratinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Urbano came free, but Gerson Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pratinha FC's Zézinho Botelho got a free kick in the 85th minute. With an all-out effort, Maruas AD's Gerson Braga threw himself towards the right post 99 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nico Urbano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
