Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Alfredão Guedes fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maruas AD's protests and gave Alfredão Guedes a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Maruas AD got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Guedes. After a rather tough play, Maruas AD's Reinaldo Lara got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 8 played minutes Maruas AD got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Vides. Maruas AD's Armindo Andrade couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Morrao. Gugu Aguiar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Silvério Albuquerque skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gugu Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nico Urbano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvério Albuquerque having to make a save. With a little luck, Morrao's Silvério Albuquerque got control of the ball when Gugu Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Oscar Motta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Maruas AD's Laerte Jacinto. Laerte Jacinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute Álvaro Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Álvaro Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laerte Jacinto was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Motta in the 42nd minute of play forced Maruas AD's goalkeeper Laerte Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Silvério Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Morrao were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Reinaldo Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Oscar Motta came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Morrao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Motta couldn't finish the play. Morrao's Álvaro Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Aguiar in the 69th minute of play forced Morrao's goalkeeper Silvério Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvério Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Laerte Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Garcia in the 77th minute of play. Maruas AD's Laerte Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Motta in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Maruas AD's Cléber Vides got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Álvaro Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Jacinto having to interfere. After some careless play in the Morrao defense, Gugu Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvério Albuquerque. The Morrao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvério Albuquerque should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armindo Andrade during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maruas AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Laerte Jacinto, was totally fooled by Morrao's Fernão Machado, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
