Gerson Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonas Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rodriguinho Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonas Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Barbosa in the 19th minute of play forced Itália's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Itália's Dagoberto Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Gerson Braga managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Itália's Helge Ödman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Pratinha FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fellipe Cavalcante hit a great ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pratinha FC's goalkeeper Gerson Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilvan Barbosa during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Pratinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Barbosa. In the 35th minute, Dagoberto Velasco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gerson Braga. The goal made the score 3-0. If Luiz Gustavo Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Madureira's late challenge caught a Itália's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Madureira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Itália booed when Pratinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dagoberto Velasco made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Dagoberto Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itália's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerson Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Clemencin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, one of Pratinha FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pratinha FC. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Itália. Severino Alvarenga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gerson Braga. 5-0. After 62 played minutes Pratinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Madureira. If Helge Ödman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lothar Matthäus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gerson Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Itália's Rodriguinho Motta got control of the ball when Jonas Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Helge Ödman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itália's supporters rose to their feet, but Helge Ödman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerson Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Itália's Helge Ödman got a free kick in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Pratinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Velasco came free, but Gerson Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beolagh Cambuquira's late challenge caught a Pratinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beolagh Cambuquira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Itália's Beolagh Cambuquira got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Pratinha FC's Gilvan Barbosa got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Gilvan Barbosa off the ground. After 85 played minutes Pratinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Barbosa. Helge Ödman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerson Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Velasco's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The supporters of Pratinha FC booed when Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoel Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pratinha FC's Gerson Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoel Suarez in the 95th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Paraíba's late challenge caught a Itália's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Gustavo Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. When Dagoberto Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Itália fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Velasco couldn't finish the play. Itália's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
