Berkant Canels short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Erik Loyola to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 9 minutes into the match, Berkant Canel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erik Loyola, 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Berkant Canel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Erik Loyola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Hassan Mignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Clube União Popular booed when Vitorina EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Berkant Canel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Loyola was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Leme in the 22nd minute of play forced Clube União Popular's goalkeeper Rodrigo Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jerônimo Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Clube União Popular fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Fantini couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Clube União Popular defense, Dênis Simão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Amorim. The Clube União Popular fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Amorim should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Lenílson Mota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vitorina EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube União Popular the free kick. Berkant Canel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Erik Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Lenílson Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Vitorina EC's Erik Loyola got control of the ball when Berkant Canel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Yngve Kristiansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Loyola skillfully saved the ball.

After 53 minutes, Berkant Canel made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vitorina EC's Erik Loyola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Berkant Canel put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Loyola. Berkant Canel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Loyola having to make a save. Erik Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkant Canel in the 62nd minute of the match. Hassan Mignon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Loyola having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berkant Canel in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Loyola saved Vitorina EC from getting behind. After 67 played minutes Clube União Popular got a freekick which was hit by Hassan Mignon. In the 71st minute, Hassan Mignon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Clube União Popular's Geovanni Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fiori Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Berkant Canel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Vitorina EC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Ceresso came free, but Erik Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Clube União Popular booed when Vitorina EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berkant Canel in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erik Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube União Popular fully deserved thier win.
