Moisés Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Hames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Aramanduba FC booed when Nevez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano de Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sílvio Luís Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Magalhães in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Cauan Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nevez's Cauan Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cauan Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nevez's protests and gave Cauan Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. Cipriano de Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Deivid Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Moisés Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aramanduba FC. Cauan Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nilmar Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilmar Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nevez's Fred Vides. But to his dismay, Fred Vides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Deivid Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Aramanduba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deivid Bezerra couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aramanduba FC's goalkeeper Nilmar Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Nevez's Cauan Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilmar Cordeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cauan Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Nilmar Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nevez. Fred Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Vides got free with Nilmar Cordeiro in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cauan Magalhães got in the 83rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Nilmar Cordeiro handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Nevez's Carlos Alberto Tepedino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilmar Cordeiro. Nilmar Cordeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3.
