Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Digo Saldanha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dedé Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Amauri de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Lúcio de Andrade notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Monleiro SC's Donato Sarmento. Donato Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dedé Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moisés Paraíba hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Dedé Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Monleiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Gaspar couldn't finish the play. Felippe Leal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Benê Carioca put in a rough tackle. Amauri de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Alagoano in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Araia got a freekick which was hit by Celso Gomes. Araia's Amauri de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Alagoano in the 36th minute of play. Amauri de Carvalho was a little too slow when Eusébio Alagoano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. After having played for 44 minutes, Dedé Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monleiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedé Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moisés Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Amauri de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Eusébio Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. Araia's Lúcio de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Monleiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Marques to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Monleiro SC's goalkeeper Donato Sarmento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio de Andrade. When Eusébio Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Monleiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Alagoano couldn't finish the play. Marcel Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Araia's Marcel Ramos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Amauri de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Monleiro SC's Dedé Gaspar. But to his dismay, Dedé Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Amauri de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Alagoano in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Araia got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Leal. If Eusébio Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amauri de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Alagoano in the 84th minute of play. Dedé Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Amauri de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Felippe Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felippe Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Amauri de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Monleiro SC's Eusébio Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eusébio Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Monleiro SC fully deserved thier win.
