Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Digo Saldanha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Glauco Carneiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amauri de Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Glauco Carneiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Souto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amauri de Carvalho. That made the score 2-0 in the 6 minute of play. If Glauco Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glauco Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Amauri de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Alexandre Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amauri de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Carneiro in the 20th minute of the match. Alexandre Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, EC São José's Glauco Carneiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amauri de Carvalho. Amauri de Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 27 minutes into the match, Araia's goalkeeper Amauri de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Souto. 27 minutes into the game, Alexandre Souto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amauri de Carvalho. Alexandre Souto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Glauco Carneiro took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Amauri de Carvalho to make any attempt to save it. Araia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Glauco Carneiro scored to the left of an out of position Amauri de Carvalho, making the score, 8-0. Amauri de Carvalho was a little too slow when Glauco Carneiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 9-0. Jeronimo Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri de Carvalho having to interfere. Alexandre Souto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amauri de Carvalho having to make a save. Glauco Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Glauco Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Amauri de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EC São José. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Carneiro in the 55th minute of play forced Araia's goalkeeper Amauri de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes, Araia's Antônio Carlos Pinheiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mike Maignan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Araia reached it. Glauco Carneiro took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amauri de Carvalho. Amauri de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Amauri de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by EC São José's Luiz Fernando Goiano. But to his dismay, Luiz Fernando Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Celso Gomes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Amauri de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by EC São José's Alexandre Souto. But to his dismay, Alexandre Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. After some careless play in the Araia defense, Luiz Fernando Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri de Carvalho. The Araia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute Glauco Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Alexandre Souto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Amauri de Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amauri de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Goiano in the 97th minute of the match. When EC São José's Luiz Fernando Goiano in 98 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Amauri de Carvalho guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. EC São José had played much better football throughout.
