Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Delfim Paraense took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Ernesto Farias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giovani de Sena. Ernesto Farias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Queiroz in the 9th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Claudio-Paul Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Zachrisson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovani de Sena having to make a save. Tobias Zachrisson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Giovani de Sena made a huge save. If Tobias Zachrisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovani de Sena was a little too slow when Delfim Paraense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 37th minute, Ernesto Farias fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Clara AD's zone, Ernesto Farias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovani de Sena came out of the goal and Ernesto Farias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Zachrisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Giovani de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inter de Melão's Ernesto Farias got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ernesto Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Zachrisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani de Sena having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delfim Paraense in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovani de Sena saved Clara AD from getting behind. In the 59th minute Tobias Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Farias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani de Sena having to interfere. Tobias Zachrisson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Clara AD's Claudio-Paul Taffarel threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Igor Queiroz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Giovani de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Farias's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Giovani de Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Acácio Pernambucano went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 78thth minute of the game Ernesto Farias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clara AD's Giovani de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Delfim Paraense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovani de Sena was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Delfim Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani de Sena having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Denílson Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clara AD's goalkeeper Giovani de Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Clara AD defense, Ernesto Farias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovani de Sena. The Clara AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovani de Sena should have stopped the shot. Delfim Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter de Melão walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
