The Santa Teresa fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Santa Teresa's Augusto Pontes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Augusto Pontes sped through Cassino's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cauã Saldanha. Cassino's Cauã Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Pontes in the 16th minute of play. Cauã Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Pontes's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Cauã Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Gay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matheus Gay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Saldanha having to interfere. Cauã Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Pontes's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 35 minutes in the game, Augusto Pontes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Augusto Pontes scored 0-5 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauã Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rdth minute of the game Matheus Gay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cassino's Cauã Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Augusto Pontes made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Cauã Saldanha managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Santa Teresa's Augusto Pontes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Santa Teresa's Cauã Saldanha threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matheus Gay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cauã Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Pontes went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Cauã Saldanha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Teodoro Martxot. Custódio Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Cassino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Custódio Simão to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Santa Teresa's Teodoro Martxot in action when he in the 78th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Cauã Saldanha was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Batiste Aznar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Batiste Aznar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. The Santa Teresa fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Santa Teresa's Hjalmar Browald looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 89 minutes into the match, Augusto Pontes notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Cassino's Cauã Saldanha. Cauã Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santa Teresa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
