The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Didi Alcântara during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Gustavo Mello came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R Corujão's Benjamim de Almeida. But to his dismay, Benjamim de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luiz Gustavo Mello came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R Corujão's Vitório Machado. But to his dismay, Vitório Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luiz Gustavo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Toscano in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Passabem SC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Felipe de Barros hit a great ball. After 22 minutes, Franklin Toscano made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Passabem SC's Luiz Gustavo Mello tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Franklin Toscano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R Corujão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Dalmo Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Luiz Gustavo Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Mello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franklin Toscano went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Franklin Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Passabem SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Passabem SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Reis came free, but Luiz Gustavo Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rony Soares's late challenge caught a S.E.R Corujão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rony Soares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Rony Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Franklin Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the S.E.R Corujão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franklin Toscano couldn't finish the play. Baltazar Cerezo's late challenge caught a S.E.R Corujão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Passabem SC's Baltazar Cerezo got a free kick in the 46th minute. Orlando Alvarenga hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute, Mário Arruda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and S.E.R Corujão's Nando Fernandes didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Prestes made a kick off. Vitório Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Mello having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game Franklin Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Passabem SC's Luiz Gustavo Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Gustavo Mello made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Vitório Machado sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute of the match, Franklin Toscano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Gustavo Mello saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Passabem SC defense, Benjamim de Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Gustavo Mello. The Passabem SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Gustavo Mello should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Passabem SC's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Toscano came free, but Luiz Gustavo Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Mello made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Sandro Cabral sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Gustavo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Toscano might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Gustavo Mello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franklin Toscano ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of S.E.R Corujão booed when Passabem SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Sandro Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamim de Almeida kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Gustavo Mello. That made the score 0-10 in the 94 minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Toscano in the 98th minute of play. S.E.R Corujão's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
