The Farroupilha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kapiting! Kapiting:s Raphael Viana showed great skill when he stopped Angelo Amorim:s penalty. José Carlos Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Viana was a little too slow when Giovanni Sarmento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 3-0. Angelo Amorim took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raphael Viana. Raphael Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Angelo Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Farroupilha FC's Angelo Amorim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. After 26 played minutes Farroupilha FC got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Trancoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Amorim in the 30th minute of play forced Kapiting's goalkeeper Raphael Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Waldir Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Amorim did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Raphael Viana 36 minutes into the match. Angelo Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Raphael Viana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Romero to make the kick off. Cristiano Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The supporters of Farroupilha FC booed when Kapiting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Paulo José Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
