Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wanderson Carvalho started the match with the kick off. José Carlos Trancoso took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Vergílio. Samuel Vergílio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vitinho Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Prestes in the 9th minute of play forced Tiquarussu's goalkeeper Samuel Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Quintal hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Angelo Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Vergílio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. José Carlos Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Vergílio having to interfere. Farroupilha FC's Angelo Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The tension between the Tiquarussu and the Farroupilha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Sidnei da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Angelo Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Carlos Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Samuel Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tiquarussu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Farroupilha FC were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Amorim to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Angelo Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Farroupilha FC's Angelo Amorim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 58th match minute, Farroupilha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Prestes to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Angelo Amorim rounded Tiquarussu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. Angelo Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano de Lara's late challenge caught a Farroupilha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Angelo Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Vergílio having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Farroupilha FC's Angelo Amorim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuel Vergílio. That made the score 0-7 after 74 minutes of play. 77 minutes into the match, Angelo Amorim notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Tiquarussu's Samuel Vergílio. Samuel Vergílio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 80 minutes, Jefferson Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farroupilha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jefferson Prestes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Samuel Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angelo Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Amorim scored 0-9 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Vergílio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Luís Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Tiquarussu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Farroupilha FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
