Róbson Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Diniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbson Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. Toninho Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Sérgio Diniz made a huge save. In the 13thth minute of the game Róbson Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coady AD's Sérgio Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Róbson Messias had several of the Coady AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Sérgio Diniz as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 19 minutes, Róbson Messias made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Coady AD's Sérgio Diniz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Coady AD getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Danilo Coutinho hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Toninho Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match Celso Alvarenga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Mazza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The wind increased when Cafu Loyola made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Róbson Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Coady AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Gol came free, but Sérgio Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbson Messias succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Elder Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Mazza having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Ronaldo Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sérgio Diniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbson Messias's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Róbson Messias put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sérgio Diniz. Rômulo de Barros hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Róbson Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coady AD's Sérgio Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute Gilvan Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Elder Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coady AD and the Rockets players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbson Messias in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rômulo de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coady AD's protests and gave Rômulo de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Coady AD got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo de Barros. In the 86thth minute of the game Róbson Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coady AD's Sérgio Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Chaves in the 87th minute of play forced Coady AD's goalkeeper Sérgio Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbson Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Diniz having to interfere. Ronaldo Gol struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sérgio Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockets. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Róbson Messias in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Diniz saved Coady AD from getting behind. Sérgio Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Rockets players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
