Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nico Paranaense started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 15 minutes into the match, Graciosa FC's goalkeeper Caetano Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Gomes. Nico Paranaense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Caetano Sampaio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 32 minutes, Enrique Diniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barandao and the Graciosa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barandao getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Enrique Diniz hit a great ball. If Oswaldo Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Caetano Sampaio made a huge save. Nelson Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sebastião Gomes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Graciosa FC's zone, Sebastião Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Sampaio came out of the goal and Sebastião Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emerson Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Pinho made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, Graciosa FC's Valério Meira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfredo Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastião Gomes struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Caetano Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barandao. Sebastião Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Sampaio having to interfere. Nico Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Caetano Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nico Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Barandao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Paranaense couldn't finish the play. If Sebastião Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Graciosa FC's Caetano Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Paranaense in the 97th minute of play.
