Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arí Nunes made the kick off which started today's match. Dênis Velloso made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sebastião Gomes sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Barandao's Nico Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dênis Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Dênis Velloso managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Barandao's Sebastião Gomes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Paranaense in the 15th minute of play forced Esmeraldas's goalkeeper Dênis Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 17 in the game by Nico Paranaense from a close distance when the talented Dênis Velloso managed to make a qualified save. Esmeraldas's players were relieved. In the 18th minute, Luís Paulo Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Sebastião Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Dênis Velloso. Esmeraldas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 25th minute Nico Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dênis Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfredo Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Barandao's Nico Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dênis Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dênis Velloso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedrinho Trigo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 48 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico Paranaense to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alfredo Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Esmeraldas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Velloso couldn't finish the play. If Enrique Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Sebastião Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dênis Velloso came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Barandao's Nico Paranaense. But to his dismay, Nico Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The supporters of Esmeraldas booed when Barandao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfredo Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Velloso in the 79th minute. Barandao's Manfredo Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Barandao from getting a goal against them. Dênis Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Gomes in the 85th minute of play. Sebastião Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Velloso having to interfere. Esmeraldas's Dênis Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Paranaense in the 93rd minute of play. Dênis Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Paranaense's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Dênis Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Gomes in the 95th minute of the match. Sebastião Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Dênis Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Barandao players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
