Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fernão Coutinho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Félix in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlinhos de Sena saved Murriae EC from getting behind. A collision led to Murriae EC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Germano Baiano hit a great ball. César Branco's late challenge caught a Murriae EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Branco helped the player get up and apologised. Germano Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Germano Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlinhos de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernão Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Rodrigo Félix struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Carlinhos de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marumbe EC. Murriae EC's Carlinhos de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Félix in the 25th minute of play. Carlinhos de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Félix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlinhos de Sena. Murriae EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Félix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benedito Prestes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Germano Baiano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. When Fernão Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Marumbe EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernão Coutinho couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germano Baiano to make the kick off. Carlinhos de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernão Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Germano Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germano Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Marumbe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Neves came free, but Benedito Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedito Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Baiano in the 59th minute of play. Germano Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Prestes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marumbe EC's Oséias Rosa got a free kick in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernão Coutinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlinhos de Sena. That made the score 1-2 in the 70 minute of play. Fernão Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Carlinhos de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germano Baiano during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Rodrigo Félix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos de Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Murriae EC's Carlinhos de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernão Coutinho in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernão Coutinho in the 88th minute of play forced Murriae EC's goalkeeper Carlinhos de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlinhos de Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernão Coutinho went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score.
