Geovânio de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Rui Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. When CF Nascy United's Hélder Lira in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cruzalia EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Hélder Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzalia EC's Breno Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agostinho Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agostinho Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes CF Nascy United got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Messias. Geovânio de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Ramos in the 17th minute of the match. Breno Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Lira in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Matorin in the 22nd minute of play forced Cruzalia EC's goalkeeper Breno Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Lira in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Hélder Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzalia EC's Breno Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Marcelinho Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzalia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelinho Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovânio de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovânio de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Rui Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute Geraldo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovânio de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Ramos in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Aníbal de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geraldo Ramos was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Schmidt in the 53rd minute of play forced CF Nascy United's goalkeeper Geovânio de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hélder Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Marcelinho Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Lira got free with Breno Mello in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breno Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco de Moraes in the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cruzalia EC's Breno Mello got control of the ball when Hélder Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The nice shot from Hélder Lira in the 71stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Breno Mello had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Guto Goiano's late challenge caught a Cruzalia EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Goiano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, CF Nascy United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Lira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Breno Mello firmly grabbed it by the left post. CF Nascy United's Geovânio de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal de Mendonça in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cruzalia EC's goalkeeper Breno Mello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 84 in the game by Hélder Lira from a close distance when the talented Breno Mello managed to make a qualified save. Cruzalia EC's players were relieved. Rui Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CF Nascy United players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cruzalia EC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
