Róbson de Senna hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Valdemar Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the game, João Vítor de Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Social Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CORITIBA FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, João Vítor de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, CORITIBA FC's Angelo Sabóia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 15 played minutes Social Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Rodrigues. In the 20th minute Angelo Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Jacinto Rosado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Botelho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When CORITIBA FC's Nicolas Nascimento in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Social Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. After 30 minutes of play, CORITIBA FC's Lenílson Matorin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 35 minutes, Lenílson Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CORITIBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Social Futebol Clube's Valdemar Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Nascimento in the 37th minute of play. Valdemar Fontes came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by CORITIBA FC's Perivaldo Ferreira. But to his dismay, Perivaldo Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 46th minute, Perivaldo Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of Valdemar Fontes. Social Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.

In the 52nd minute, Ismael Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Perivaldo Ferreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CORITIBA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. When João Vítor de Toledo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. After 60 played minutes Social Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor de Toledo. Perivaldo Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Valdemar Fontes made a huge save. Ian Soares took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdemar Fontes. Valdemar Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. CORITIBA FC's Yan Goiano was substituted for William Trancoso. In the 70th minute Ian Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Social Futebol Clube defense, Perivaldo Ferreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Fontes. The Social Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Fontes should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, CORITIBA FC's Angelo Sabóia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdemar Fontes. Valdemar Fontes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. CORITIBA FC's José Carlos Sá was substituted for Ian Soares. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenílson Matorin in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Fontes saved Social Futebol Clube from getting behind. Lenílson Matorin scored 0-9 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdemar Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Róbson de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bruno Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CORITIBA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
